EnergyGuide labels are better than a single watt reading
When available, the yellow EnergyGuide label's estimated annual kWh already accounts for standardized cycling. Multiply annual kWh by your electricity price in dollars per kWh to estimate annual energy cost.

The example uses 1.2 kWh per day. At 17¢ per kWh, that is about 20¢ per day, $6.12 per 30-day month, and $74.46 per year.

- Leave room for ventilation around the appliance.
