PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy choices should be as clear as the calculator.

Effective date: August 20, 2026.

Calculator information

The calculator runs in the visitor's browser and does not require an account. Watts, hours, rate, state selection, and comparison names remain on the device unless the visitor creates or opens a share URL. Shared calculator values can appear in the URL and therefore may be included in browser history, referrer information, or infrastructure logs.

Infrastructure data

The site is delivered through Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timing, and security signals. WattBill USA does not sell calculator inputs or require visitors to identify themselves.

Official electricity-rate data

Requests for state residential averages are served from WattBill USA's Cloudflare Worker and KV storage. The EIA API credential is stored as a server-side secret and is never sent to the visitor's browser.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

WattBill USA uses Google AdSense to support the site. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, IP addresses, and related technologies to deliver, measure, personalize, and limit advertising. Visitors can review and manage Google's advertising choices through My Ad Center. Where legally required, consent choices will be presented before personalized advertising storage or access is used.

Data retention and requests

The site does not currently operate visitor accounts or a contact-message database. Infrastructure logs are governed by the service configuration and Cloudflare's applicable terms. Privacy or correction requests can be sent to Wattbillusa@gmail.com.
